Jane Cooper

Head of Accessibility

Jane Cooper is a leading access consultant, disability campaigner, and inclusion specialist, whose unique combination of lived and professional experience has made her one of the UK’s most trusted voices in accessibility. Her work spans top-tier public bodies and private clients – including the NHS, VisitEngland, Amazon, Merlin Entertainments, and the National Trust – as well as numerous schools, MATs and LAs.

Over nearly three decades, Jane has advised on accessible design, inclusion strategies, and training across sectors ranging from education and health to heritage and tourism. She has contributed to national toolkits, reviewed accessibility standards, judged awards, and delivered training for staff at all levels.

As the parent of a disabled daughter, Jane brings personal insight that ensures her work is always grounded in real-world impact. She is passionate about helping organisations turn policy into practice so that accessibility is not only understood but meaningfully applied.

Kate Whittlesey

Head of Education

Kate is a nationally respected SEND consultant with leadership experience across early years, primary, secondary, and post-16 education. She has worked as a SENCO, Local Authority SEND Advisor, Regional SEND Lead, and MAT leader, supporting schools from those requiring rapid improvement through to Ofsted Outstanding.

She regularly advises schools, MATs, and Local Authorities on audits, strategy, and governance, and provides coaching and mentoring for SENCOs and leaders. Alongside consultancy, Kate contributes to national discussions on inclusion, wellbeing, and workload, sharing practical insights through events, podcasts, and networks.

At AccessHub, Kate ensures the platform is aligned with curriculum priorities and whole-school improvement, helping leaders embed accessibility as a core part of effective teaching and leadership.

Becky McMahon

Operations Director

Becky brings a wealth of leadership and people-focused expertise to AccessHub, with a career spanning industry, education, and the accessibility sector. She has held senior roles at Tata Steel, British Steel, and Wabtec, where she specialised in learning and development, change management, and organisational growth.

She has also served as Director of People for a Multi-Academy Trust and is an active school governor across two schools, giving her first-hand insight into the challenges school leaders face in balancing compliance, resources, and pupil needs. As an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach, Becky combines corporate discipline with a deep understanding of the cultural shifts needed to embed meaningful and lasting change in education.

Before joining AccessHub, Becky was General Manager at RISE Adaptations, the UK’s leader in Changing Places facilities, where she oversaw national delivery and operational excellence. At AccessHub, she brings this operational expertise together with the specialist knowledge of colleagues and partners to ensure the platform is robust, practical, and aligned with the realities of schools. She is passionate about developing people, supporting leaders, and helping education organisations turn accessibility commitments into confident, everyday practice.

Pat McMahon

Managing Director

Pat is a former architectural technician and co-founder of RISE Adaptations, the UK’s leading Changing Places provider. He has overseen the design and installation of accessible facilities for local authorities, heritage sites, sports venues, and community spaces nationwide – combining technical expertise with a practical understanding of compliance and user needs.

With experience spanning architecture, project delivery, and client support, Pat brings a broad perspective on what works in real-world environments. He ensures accessibility solutions are not only compliant with standards, but also safe, durable, and genuinely usable.

At AccessHub, Pat applies this expertise to make sure the platform is firmly grounded in the realities of school buildings, budgets, and day-to-day operations.

Tom Horne

Head of UX

Tom leads the experience side of AccessHub, ensuring the platform feels intuitive, accessible, and effortless to use. He has worked alongside Davor for over 20 years, forming a partnership that blends back-end engineering with front-end design – a collaboration that underpins the reliability and usability of everything they build.

For the past two decades, Tom has created bespoke platforms and digital solutions for blue-chip organisations as well as hundreds of schools and multi-academy trusts. His expertise lies in turning complex requirements into simple, responsive, and user-friendly designs that work seamlessly across devices.

By combining technical know-how with a strong focus on usability, Tom ensures AccessHub delivers not just on functionality, but on an inclusive user experience that saves staff time and makes accessibility feel straightforward.

Davor Domazet

Lead Developer

Davor leads the engine room of AccessHub, overseeing the technical architecture, secure hosting, and ongoing development of the platform. With almost 30 years of experience in web technologies, bespoke system design, and server infrastructure, he ensures the platform is robust, scalable, and future-ready.

His career spans blue-chip clients and enterprise projects, alongside extensive work with the education sector. Davor has supported literally hundreds of schools and multi-academy trusts with technical support, web development, and custom systems – bringing deep insight into how to build reliable tools for busy education leaders.
